MONKNORI

A Tokyo-based artist known for the 1PAGE series — compositions built from fragments of fashion and lifestyle magazine pages, combined with acrylic paint. Since her solo debut in 2011, MONKNORI has exhibited at THE blank GALLERY (Harajuku), Gallery NIW (Edogawabashi), and 3331 Arts Chiyoda. Awards include the Nika Exhibition Design Section Encouragement Award (1986), selections in THE CHOICE (2006, 2009), and the Nishiwaki Samuhole Grand Prix Exhibition (2017).
