Matthew Rose

Original collages by Paris-based American artist Matthew Rose (b. 1959, New York). Rose studied semiotics at Brown University and now works from Paris, assembling vintage maps, musical scores, and textbook pages gathered from Parisian flea markets into compositions that play with language and image. His projects are archived at MoMA (New York) and LACMA (Los Angeles). He held a major solo exhibition at Karuizawa New Art Museum in 2019. All works come hand-signed with a Certificate of Authenticity.
