Pablo Picasso Born in 1881. A Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet, and playwright who spent most of his adult life in France. He is one of the most influential artists of the 20th century and the founder of the Cubist movement. Picasso's artistic style is known for its wide range of creativity, including the invention of assemblage sculpture and the rediscovery of collage.
